Evaluation of the Annual Implementation Plan of Public Schools

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) in selected public schools in the Luna District, Province of Apayao. It examines the AIP in terms of alignment with the School Improvement Plan, planning and preparation, resource allocation and budgeting, implementation of activities, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder participation, and overall effectiveness. A descriptive-survey research design is employed involving school heads, teachers, administrative personnel, and PTA or community representatives as respondents. Findings reveal that the AIP is implemented at a Very High level across all indicators, indicating strong alignment with school goals, effective planning, efficient resource utilization, and active stakeholder participation. However, challenges such as financial limitations, limited resources, schedule disruptions, and weather-related factors are identified. The study concludes that the AIP is an effective tool for school improvement and governance. It recommends strengthening financial management, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and improving monitoring systems to sustain effective implementation.
